Aims & Scope
Oral Sphere Journal of Dental and Health Sciences (OSJDHS), a publication focused on topics related to oral health, dental care, and related health sciences, established in 2024, is a peer-reviewed, print and online, quarterly journal that publishes articles in English.
The journal’s full text is available online at www.oralsphere.com. The journal allows open access to its contents and permits authors to self-archive the final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository.

Open Access Statement
Restricted access to scientific research, often through subscription paywalls, limits communication and collaboration within the scientific community. Such restrictions also impede the education and dissemination of scientific knowledge to aspiring young scientists. Increased productivity and advancement in science can only be achieved by widely distributing knowledge and creating permanent repositories, such as Open Access, for easy access and sharing.
By using a Creative Commons 4.0 License (CC-BY-NC 4.0), we enable users, readers, and peers to use the content with clear permissions. This allows for reuse and redistribution as long as the source is appropriately credited for non-commercial purposes.
Self-Archiving Policy for Authors
As all articles are published under the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence, authors retain broad rights to archive and share their work. The journal permits self-archiving of all versions of the article, as set out below, provided the deposited version links to the final published article on the journal's website and attributes the journal and Publisher as the original place of publication with a correct citation.
Submitted version (preprint): The author's original manuscript, prior to peer review. Authors may deposit the preprint on preprint servers, personal or institutional websites, or preprint commenting platforms at any time. On submission, authors must disclose any existing preprint, including its DOI and licence. After publication, the preprint record should be updated with the full citation, DOI, and a link to the published article.
Accepted manuscript: The peer-reviewed version accepted for publication, before copyediting and typesetting. Authors may deposit the accepted manuscript in an institutional or subject-based repository immediately upon acceptance, under the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence, with a link to the published version once available.
Published version (version of record): The final, copyedited, typeset article with its assigned DOI. Authors may deposit the published PDF in an institutional or subject repository, and share it on non-commercial scholarly collaboration networks, immediately after publication under the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence, including a link to the article on the journal's website as the official record.
Abstract and citation information: Authors may share the abstract and citation details of their article at any time, including on social media, provided the original source is attributed or the DOI is included.

- Our journals feature both digital and print advertisements. All commercially sponsored advertisements are independent of editorial decisions.
- The journal and publisher do not endorse any product, service, or sponsor featured in an advertisement. Editorial content remains impartial and unaffected by any commercial or financial interests or agreements with advertisers or sponsors.
- We reserve the right to reject advertisements that may harm the brand, are irrelevant to the content, or are misleading or deceptive. Advertisements must present verifiable information.
- Advertisements that are indecent, offensive, or discriminatory based on personal, racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, or religious characteristics, whether in text or artwork, will not be accepted.
- We will not accept advertisements for products or services known to be harmful to health, such as tobacco or alcohol.
- Even if an advertisement is published online, it will be removed from the journal site if deemed inappropriate by the journal and publisher.
- Advertorials targeting specific articles with treatment or drug-specific campaigns related to the advertised product will not be allowed.
- Advertisers must provide marketing authorization and a summary of the product characteristics when submitting their advertisement. For drug advertisements, the full generic name of each active ingredient must be clearly listed.
- Editorial decisions will remain independent and unaffected by current or potential sponsors and advertisers, with no influence from marketing considerations.
- Any complaints regarding advertisements will be addressed in the Advertisements section of the print copies only.
